As seen in the images, it is a small piece of plastic that has a channel on two of its edges, one seems to be thinner than the other, and its interior appears to have a granular material that is supposed to function like a type of sandpaper to polish the wiper blades. I haven't used it yet; I bought it based on the good reviews, but when I use it and see the results, I will try to update my comment.

The item is small and easy to use; I just used it and now we need to see if it really works.

This little thing is unbelievably very efficient. i mean my wipers or i was thinking of changing them but then when i bought this it does did a little work. he know you have to like use it several times on the the tip and feel it with your fingers and you will feel the wiper blades getting new. it is really effective by the first time i tried it. it was it had a little bit of streaks on the window but the second time when i sharpened or used it like several times on the tip it really really helped. thank you, i would definitely recommend it

It results in a cleaner finish than using a cutter.
